OrchardGrass
Orchardgrass is a bunch-type grass used primarily for hay production although the newer varieties are holding up very well under managed grazing. Combined with legumes and/or other grasses orchardgrass is a staple in forage production.
Triton
Triton is a 3-way blend of med-late maturing orchardgrass varieties with enhanced disease resistance to ensure seedling vigor, persistent plant health, and excellent yield potential. Summer heat tolerance combined with good fall productivity and excellent winter-hardiness make it an ideal choice for grazing, hay production, and as a companion with alfalfa. It also mixes well with other cool-season grasses like tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, and timothy.
Amba
Amba is an earlier maturing variety of orchardgrass that is bred for quick growth and easy establishment. Of earlier maturing orchardgrasses it offers higher palatability for livestock when used in grazing or haying operations. Known for its superior winter hardiness, with proper management, Amba will serve as a great perennial forage that will produce year after year.
