LH 30-30: WDI- 30/30, FD: 4
30-30 is a high quality alfalfa with genetic resistance to potato leafhopper that peforms will in mixtures with cool season grasses or other legumes. Best utilized in a three to four cut harvest plan or rotational grazing system. The leafhopper come from the glandular hairs, hairs that are not fully developed in early vegatative stages of alfalfa so less resistance occurs early on. Even with the resistance available always scout and spray if thresholds are reached.
